Wheeler Yuta explains why he suffocated Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag - Cageside Seats

Earlier this month at AEW WrestleDream, the full-time career of Bryan Danielson came to an end at the hands of Jon Moxley. After the match was over, Wheeler Yuta shocked a lot of fans by turning on Bryan and suffocating him with a plastic bag for nearly one full minute.
On tonight’s (Oct. 26) episode of Collision, Yuta was interviewed by Nigel McGuinness and asked about why he betrayed Bryan.
Yuta’s response echoed some of Moxley’s talking points on how the American Dragon wasn’t willing to do what needs to be done for the greater good: “I gave him a warrior’s death...because he doesn’t have the stomach for this.”
Nigel McGuinness sits down with Wheeler Yuta to get some answers on why he did what he did to Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream. "We gave him a warrior's death..."Watch #AEWCollision LIVE on TNT!@WheelerYuta | @McGuinnessNigel pic.twitter.com/JT2ppqgtQJ
Wheeler suggested that it didn’t make any sense to stick by a guy whose career was now dead. He didn’t want to do this Danielson, but he had no choice. If Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Yuta are willing to do this to the people they love, can you imagine what they’ll do to everyone else?
What did you think of Wheeler’s explanation for attempted murder, Cagesiders?
